Transaction Fees¶
Fika does not charge any fees for transactions. However, underlying protocols have their own fees, so when using the Fika platform, it's important to be aware of the various fees that may apply to your transactions by those protocols. Below is a breakdown of the fees incurred per transaction - create or close positions - by the underlying protocols:
1. Liquidity Provider (LP) Fees¶
Underlying decentralized market making protocols, such as Uniswap, apply a fee that ranges from 0.01% to 1% of the transaction amount. The specific fee applied will depend on the pool that your transaction is routed through.
2. Asset Creation Fees¶
In addition to LP fees, there is a fee of 0.15% of the transaction amount associated with the Lekker protocol. Lekker is a protocol that aggregates the liquidity, enables you to create a position and mint a new asset representative of that position. This fee is applied to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of the protocol.
3. Transaction Fees on Open and Close¶
Transaction fees apply for each trade only when opening and closing positions (not on transfers).
Summary of Fees¶
| Fee Type | Percentage |
|---|---|
| LP Fees (e.g.Uniswap) | 0.01% - 1% |
| Lekker Protocol Fee | 0.15% |
| Fika Fee | 0% |
Understanding those fees is crucial for effective use and position management on the Fika platform. Always consider these costs when planning your transactions.
